Thorsday 1.2

Happy Thorsday, said in my best Eeyore voice, followed by “Tut, tut, looks like rain.”

Hrmph.

September 2011 006

Mama had the dang camera in my face yesterday.  She loves this photo because she thinks it shows how expressive my un-eye is.  Whatever.  I was trying to hunt and she was being annoying.

*******

September 2011 009Gretchen here.  THIS is why it’s best if the DIVA just dictates and leaves the writing to me.  Boy is she crabby this morning!   Missing a walk on Tuesday and getting her feet wet yesterday shouldn’t ruin the whole week.  Geeze.

Don’t you think Mama should let me have this pretty scarf?  Heck, it would look good on the DIVA Crab too, if she could stop being hard to get along with long enough to see the purple in there.  Personally, I’m glad for the tiniest bit of chill in the air.  I have lots of pretty dresses and cool weather means I can wear ’em!

Happy dogs on Thorsday to you!

[…] Thorsday to you!  The fur-girls have a little post up, but please don’t mind Sissy’s […]

Oh Gretchen you are so pretty. Your Mom should wrap that scarf around your neck and take you for a walk (you and Sissy could take turns wearing it).

Max always gives me a snuggle when I am grumpy and it helps a lot! Maybe you could nuzzle Sissy a little and let her know it’s okay to be out of sorts some days.

We’re all glad that we can play outside now without stopping to pant and get a drink. This feels so much better. Mom wants to know your sizes, she thinks she may have a pink sweater for you.

gg – you are a dolly! Always seeing the bright side. But I must say there is something about the basset hound demeanor this is just slightly eyeore-ish! Honestly. 🙂 g

You two Grrls are so funny! We’re sure Sissy will soon get over “it”, whatever “it” is, and you, Gg do look lovely in the scarf. Still way too hot for that sort of thing here, though.

You look beautiful in your pretty scarf, Gretchen!
We love your side profile, Sissy! You’re so pretty!

    Love ya lots

Jake is evidently with you, Sissy. Grumpy. According to his dad (I am out of town) he stopped eating yesterday because it has been raining so hard (another 10+” on top of the 13″ from Irene) that he hasn’t been able to get in a decent walk for several days, so he decided to boycott his food. And Gretchen…maybe sweater would be better than a scarf. You are so tiny, you would probably trip over it.

  8. Nichole Says:

Love BOTH shots of the girls… and yay, give the girl a scarf already! lol

How *is* Miss Diva’s good eye doing lately? And Micro says that color is particularly becoming on Miss G. 😉

Well, we think that would make a better doggie blanket than a scarf! Just think about ruching it all up and digging into it until it’s in the perfect poofy condition to lie on. Most snuggly.

We’re still waiting for something that even resembles cool weather. Maybe by the end of the week. We got as much rain as you, between Irene and Lee. Abby hates it; Jed loves bouncing through the wet and mud.

We’re having a terrible time lately trying to post comments on WordPress blogs. Did our last effort make it through? It’s not showing up.
